HELLGIRL

Cinemavixion Review

HELLGIRL, directed by Lawrence Riggins, plunges into a chilling narrative where a demonic entity's ancient curse resurfaces. The story unfolds 160 years after a harrowing impregnation, centering on a group of ghost hunters whose lives are irrevocably altered. What begins as a pursuit of easy money transforms into a desperate fight for survival when they realize one of their own is intrinsically linked to the malevolent force. The film delves into themes of destiny and redemption as the offspring, alongside her newfound allies, must confront her dark heritage. With a cast including Tara Westwood and the late Tom Sizemore, HELLGIRL offers a compelling blend of supernatural horror and personal struggle, exploring the complex relationship between a mother's spirit and her child's fate against an otherworldly threat.
