HEAD ON A PLATE

Cinemavixion Review

Gary Dean Orona's 'Head on a Plate' plunges viewers into a chilling encounter with extraterrestrial horror, set against the stark backdrop of a rural town near the infamous Area 51. Released in 2023, this sci-fi horror offering posits a terrifying premise: shapeshifting aliens have long coexisted with humanity, their insatiable hunger driving them to feast on human flesh and leave a trail of decapitated victims. The film's narrative, co-written by Orona and Tabitha Stevens, features a cast including Kamarra Cole, Daisy Ducati, and Seth Fischer, who navigate the escalating terror. While the film's IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, its audacious concept and commitment to a gruesome alien threat offer a unique, albeit potentially polarizing, addition to the genre. 'Head on a Plate' aims to disturb and provoke, exploring the fear of the unknown lurking just beyond the veil of our perceived reality.
