Cinemavixion Review

Steven M. Smith's "Haunted" plunges viewers into the chilling premise of a paranormal investigation gone awry. Echoing the appeal of popular ghost reality shows, this 2013 British horror film follows a TV crew venturing into what is purported to be the most haunted location on Earth. The narrative promises a terrifying discovery, as the crew seeks evidence to prove we are not alone, only to find that something malevolent awaits them. While the film garnered a modest 2.7 rating on IMDb, its strength lies in its commitment to a classic horror setup. Jon-Paul Gates, Vivien Creegor, and Freddie Fuller anchor the cast, navigating the escalating dread. "Haunted" offers a familiar yet effective descent into the unknown, making it a compelling watch for fans of supernatural thrillers who enjoy a good old-fashioned scare.
