HANSEL & GRETEL: LOST IN THE WOODS - NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S STORY

Cinemavixion Review

This grim reimagining of the classic fairy tale plunges us into the dark woods, where siblings Hansel and Gretel fall prey to a sinister recluse. The narrative eschews traditional enchantment for a more visceral horror, depicting the siblings' enslavement within a gruesome, isolated dwelling. The film explores themes of survival and the loss of innocence as the young protagonists confront unimaginable terror, offering a stark and unsettling departure from familiar storytelling tropes.
