Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the grim realities of medieval warfare through the examination of nine skeletons discovered at Stirling Castle. Dr. Jo Buckberry, a specialist in battle trauma, proposes a compelling timeline placing these individuals within the tumultuous Scottish Wars of Independence (1296-1357). Joined by historian Matt Lewis, the program meticulously analyzes the skeletal remains, seeking clues to identify these long-lost figures and reconstruct the violent circumstances of their demise. It offers a fascinating, albeit somber, glimpse into the brutal conflicts that shaped Scotland's history, bringing to light the personal stories hidden within archaeological finds.
