THE BLACK DEATH. WHAT DO WE KNOW? WE ASKED A MEDIEVAL HISTORIAN

Cinemavixion Review

This engaging documentary delves into the grim realities of the Black Death, framed through the accessible lens of historian Eleanor Janega. Janega, also a co-host of the 'Gone Medieval' podcast, tackles frequently Googled questions about the plague, offering a clear and informative perspective on a pivotal moment in history. The film aims to demystify the disease, often referred to as The Great Pestilence, by exploring survival rates and the broader impact of this devastating pandemic. While lacking specific directorial or cinematic details in its current form, the presentation promises an educational journey, shedding light on the medieval world's struggle with an invisible, relentless enemy and making historical inquiry feel both relevant and urgent.
