Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the pervasive yet often overlooked world of Global Positioning Systems, revealing the intricate geopolitical landscape that lies beneath the surface of everyday navigation. "GPS: A Global War? | The Hidden Battle for Global Control" meticulously unpacks how this invisible infrastructure, dominated by the U.S. network, has become a linchpin for global finance, transportation, and communication. The film compellingly questions the implications of such a centralized system, exploring potential vulnerabilities and the strategic dependencies that arise from it. As nations like China, Europe, Russia, and India develop their own satellite navigation systems, the documentary probes the ensuing race for technological sovereignty and the potential for both enhanced security and increased confusion. Through expert interviews, it highlights the critical balance between technological advancement and personal freedom, posing a vital question: are we progressing towards a smarter world, or are we inadvertently surrendering our autonomy to the watchful eyes in orbit?
