GOLD FOOLS

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Gold Fools,' a family man's sudden layoff propels him and his friends into a high-stakes gold panning adventure in the mountains of Sonora. Unbeknownst to them, the serene landscape hides a sinister secret, where the depths of the water conceal unseen dangers. The film appears to delve into themes of desperation, friendship, and the perilous pursuit of fortune, set against a backdrop that promises both natural beauty and lurking menace. Director Travis Cluff also stars in the film alongside Kalos Cluff and Vince Cosentino, suggesting a potentially intimate, perhaps even familial, production. While the premise hints at a thrilling blend of survival and suspense, the true nature of the 'dangers' remains tantalizingly obscure, inviting audiences to discover the peril that lies beneath the surface.
