GLASS JAW

Cinemavixion Review

Jeff Celentano's 'Glass Jaw' presents a compelling, albeit familiar, narrative of redemption centered on Travis Austin, a boxer whose life spirals after a championship win, leading to imprisonment and the loss of everything he holds dear. The film charts his arduous journey back from the brink, seeking to reclaim his reputation, his title, and the love he lost. Starring Lee Kholafai, Korrina Rico, and Jon Gries, the film delves into the gritty realities of a comeback, exploring themes of resilience and second chances. While the plot may tread well-worn paths of the sports drama genre, the performances and the raw portrayal of struggle offer a solid viewing experience for fans of redemption stories and boxing dramas. The film's exploration of consequence and the arduous path to atonement makes for a thoughtful, if intense, character study.
