GIRL IN WOODS

Cinemavixion Review

This independent drama plunges viewers into the unforgiving wilderness of the Smoky Mountains, following Grace's harrowing ordeal after a devastating accident. The narrative skillfully intertwines the physical struggle for survival against the elements with Grace's internal battle against her past traumas. Director Jeremy Benson crafts a tense atmosphere, amplified by the isolated setting and the protagonist's vulnerability. While the film may not boast mainstream accolades, its raw portrayal of resilience and the psychological toll of isolation offers a compelling, albeit bleak, cinematic experience. The performances effectively convey the desperation and inner turmoil required to navigate such a profound crisis.
