SHERPA: PEOPLE OF THE MOUNTAIN

Cinemavixion Review

The documentary "Sherpa: People Of The Mountain" offers a profound glimpse into the lives of the Sherpa people, indigenous to the majestic Himalayas bordering Nepal and Tibet. These are the same mountains that birthed the first conqueror of Mount Everest, a testament to the Sherpas' deep connection with this formidable landscape. The film thoughtfully chronicles the distinct paths of three brothers, each native to this high-altitude region yet navigating vastly different realities. It's a compelling exploration of culture, family, and the enduring spirit of a community intrinsically linked to the world's highest peaks, urging viewers to appreciate the human stories behind the monumental natural beauty.
