GEORGE FREEMAN: RACE FIXER AND OWNER OF A CRIMINAL EMPIRE

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the shadowy world of George Freeman, a figure who dominated Sydney's underworld for an astonishing three decades. Portrayed as a master manipulator, Freeman's influence extended from the racecourses, where he operated as a notorious fixer, to a network of powerful individuals who shielded him from law enforcement. The narrative paints a compelling picture of his rise and reign as the 'King of Sydney,' highlighting his adeptness as a gambler and his intricate dealings that fueled both his personal empire and the careers of his associates. It's a fascinating, albeit grim, look at the mechanics of organized crime and the individuals who thrive within its complex structure.
