FOR ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS PER DAY

Cinemavixion Review

Silvio Amadio's "For One Thousand Dollars Per Day" (1966) delivers a classic revenge Western narrative, driven by a protagonist's rigorous self-training to confront the killers of his parents. Zachary Hatcher anchors the film as the determined hero, supported by a capable cast including Mimmo Palmara and Rubén Rojo. While the plot treads familiar ground within the genre, the film's execution, bolstered by its Italian and Spanish production, offers a compelling exploration of justice and retribution. The stark cinematography and the protagonist's unwavering resolve create a palpable atmosphere of impending showdowns. This is a solid entry for fans of Spaghetti Westerns seeking a focused tale of vengeance and skill-at-arms, presented with a gritty authenticity.
