FINDING AN ANCIENT CHAMBER UNDER A GARDEN IN CORNWALL

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the intriguing mystery of an ancient underground chamber discovered beneath a Cornish garden. The narrative skillfully weaves together traditional dowsing techniques, as demonstrated by Hamish Miller, with modern geophysical surveys, highlighting a fascinating juxtaposition of methods. The team's dedication to uncovering the purpose of this 2000-year-old 'fogou' and its potential connection to an Iron Age settlement is palpable. The inclusion of archaeological geophysicist Susan Ovenden and county archaeologist Nick Johnson lends significant authority to the investigation. While skepticism from Mick adds a layer of realism, the overarching quest for knowledge and the exploration of historical enigmas make for compelling viewing, inviting audiences to ponder the secrets hidden beneath our feet.
