FAST FOOD

Cinemavixion Review

Stewart Sugg's 1998 British crime-comedy "Fast Food" offers a gritty yet darkly humorous look at a young man's return to his old neighborhood. Benny, played by Douglas Henshall, finds himself caught between rekindled romance and the magnetic pull of his former life, entangled with a crew of petty criminals. The film, also featuring Emily Woof and Miles Anderson, masterfully blends elements of crime and comedy, exploring themes of loyalty and second chances within a chaotic, unpredictable narrative. While perhaps not a mainstream blockbuster, "Fast Food" provides an engaging dive into a specific British cinematic landscape, showcasing early talent that would go on to greater recognition.
