"Falling For Christmas" offers a heartwarming, albeit familiar, tale of self-discovery set against a backdrop of winter charm. Christie Will Wolf directs a narrative that sees a driven figure skater, portrayed with delicate resilience by Leah Renee, find unexpected solace and love after a career-threatening injury. The chemistry between Renee and Niall Matter, who plays a charmingly grounded ex-hockey player, forms the emotional core of the film. Matter's portrayal of a man content with a simpler life provides a compelling contrast to the protagonist's ambition. Lisa Whelchel also lends a comforting presence.
