FAITH ON THE CANVAS

Cinemavixion Review

In "FAITH on the CANVAS," curator Justin Paton guides viewers through a fascinating exploration of religious art's transition from sacred spaces to gallery walls. This evocative episode, directed by Gillian Ashurst, delves into how these profound works continue to grapple with fundamental questions of human existence, purpose, and the nature of belief. Paton expertly selects pieces that demonstrate how faith, memory, and spirituality are rendered in pigment, offering a gentle yet powerful meditation on the enduring spiritual resonance of art. "FAITH on the CANVAS" is a thoughtful examination of how visual art, even when removed from its original context, retains its capacity to inspire reflection and foster a sense of wonder about the divine and our place within it.
