DOG BY DOG - THE HORRIBLE REALITY OF AMERICAN PUPPY MILLS

Cinemavixion Review

Christopher E. Grimes' documentary, "Dog By Dog - The Horrible Reality of American Puppy Mills," serves as a stark and necessary exposé on a deeply troubling aspect of animal welfare. The film meticulously follows the financial arteries of the puppy mill industry, tracing the flow of money from large corporations to politicians and even seemingly benevolent animal welfare organizations. Grimes employs a investigative approach, aiming to illuminate the political and economic structures that perpetuate the suffering of countless animals. By dissecting this complex web, the documentary urges viewers to look beyond individual rescue efforts and confront the systemic issues at play. It’s a powerful call to action, demanding a re-evaluation of the systems that allow such cruelty to persist and advocating for a more compassionate future for animal breeding.
