DIRTY FILTHY LOVE

Cinemavixion Review

“Dirty Filthy Love” offers a raw and unflinching portrayal of a man grappling with obsessive–compulsive disorder and Tourette syndrome, brought to life with a compelling performance by Michael Sheen. The film expertly navigates the complexities of his condition, weaving a narrative that is as humorous as it is poignant. As his life unravels amidst a divorce and the well-intentioned meddling of friends, the arrival of a woman who introduces him to therapy and, unexpectedly, love, provides a crucial turning point. Director Adrian Shergold crafts a sensitive yet unflinching look at mental health, relationships, and the search for connection. This British drama, recognized with BAFTA nominations, is a testament to the power of nuanced storytelling and exceptional acting, making it a deeply resonant viewing experience.
