DEAR SANTA

Cinemavixion Review

This festive romantic comedy, 'Dear Santa,' offers a charming tale of transformation and holiday spirit. The narrative centers on Crystal, a woman accustomed to a life of privilege, who is given an ultimatum: mend her frivolous ways or face financial cutoffs. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a child's letter to Santa, which inspires her to seek out the child's widowed father, Derek, a dedicated soup kitchen owner. The film adeptly explores themes of self-discovery and the true meaning of generosity, set against the backdrop of the holiday season. While the plot follows a somewhat predictable path, the performances, particularly from Amy Acker as Crystal, bring warmth and sincerity to the characters. The film successfully blends humor with heartwarming moments, making it a pleasant watch for those seeking a feel-good holiday movie.
