DANGEROUS DIGITALIZATION

Cinemavixion Review

In an era defined by an unprecedented deluge of digital information, 'Dangerous Digitalization' offers a compelling, albeit brief, exploration of our increasingly data-driven existence. The film posits a thought-provoking premise: as our lives become quantifiable and predictable through mathematical modeling, what are the implications for human agency and the very nature of our reality? Directors Jakob Kneser and Pina Dietsche skillfully navigate this complex subject, highlighting the transformative power of pervasive data streams. While the documentary touches upon the vast creation of information in recent years, it leaves the audience contemplating the profound societal shifts and potential perils inherent in this total digitization. It serves as a concise, yet potent, invitation to consider the future we are rapidly building.
