DAD GANG

Cinemavixion Review

Naim Freeman's "Dad Gang" (2019) delves into the often-unseen complexities of male friendships navigating the transition into a new life stage. The film centers on three friends in their mid-thirties, grappling with the evolving dynamics of their personal growth, familial responsibilities, and romantic relationships. Asim Amin, Epiphany Anderson, and Lisa Anderson star as the core trio, whose relatable struggles form the emotional backbone of the narrative. While specific plot details might elude a brief synopsis, the film's premise promises a candid and perhaps humorous exploration of the challenges and triumphs that come with embracing the 'second phase of life'. "Dad Gang" appears poised to offer a poignant reflection on modern masculinity and the enduring power of camaraderie in the face of adulting.
