CRONUS

Cinemavixion Review

Derek Presley's "CRONUS" presents a compellingly melancholic narrative centered on a brilliant but amnesiac recluse. The film masterfully explores the human desire to reclaim lost identity, delving into the ethical quandaries of manipulating memories. Presley crafts a world where the past is not just remembered but physically extracted and rebuilt, serving as a powerful metaphor for our own struggles with regret and nostalgia. Joey Folsom delivers a nuanced performance as the protagonist, anchoring the film with a quiet intensity. While the film's premise is inherently speculative, its emotional core resonates deeply, prompting reflection on what truly defines us. "CRONUS" is a thought-provoking journey into the architecture of self, recommended for those who appreciate cerebral science fiction with a philosophical bent.
