CREATURE LAKE

Cinemavixion Review

Drazen Baric's 2015 creature feature, "Creature Lake," plunges viewers into a remote wilderness where a group of five friends finds their getaway turn into a desperate fight for survival. With a runtime of 80 minutes, the film, starring Elena Semikina, Vanessa Tavares, and Jonathan Matthews, delivers a familiar yet tense premise. While critical reception, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 3.1/10, suggests a mixed audience experience, the film's straightforward horror narrative and focus on a primal threat have garnered it a cult following. Despite its modest production, "Creature Lake" offers a compact and suspenseful encounter with the unknown, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of isolated terror and creature-feature B-movies.
