COWBOYS WITHOUT BORDERS

Cinemavixion Review

Gaston Davis's "Cowboys Without Borders" offers a sweeping and heartfelt exploration of the enduring spirit of the cowboy across the Americas. This documentary transcends geographical boundaries, masterfully illustrating how the core values of resilience, dedication, and community bind ranching cultures from the vast plains of Montana to the rugged landscapes of Argentina. Davis, himself a sixth-generation Texan, brings an authentic voice and a keen eye to his journey, working alongside fellow cowboys and revealing the shared humanity that underpins their demanding way of life. Despite technological advancements, the film poignantly argues that the heart of the cowboy remains untamed and vital. With an impressive IMDb rating of 8.2, this film is a rich tapestry of heritage and a compelling testament to a timeless frontier ethos.
