CLUTCH CARGO - BLUNDERBIRD

Cinemavixion Review

In this installment of the vintage animated series, 'Clutch Cargo' takes viewers on an adventure to the Amazon. The plot revolves around a plea for help from friendly headhunters who are being menaced by a colossal bird. The episode, directed by Phil Booth and featuring voice work from Richard Cotting, Margaret Kerry, and Emil Sitka, offers a glimpse into the charmingly simplistic storytelling of 1950s children's television. While the animation style is distinctly of its era, the narrative provides a straightforward, engaging conflict that would have captivated young audiences upon its release.
