CLUTCH CARGO - OPERATION MOON BEAM

Cinemavixion Review

Embark on a nostalgic journey with "Clutch Cargo - Operation Moon Beam," a charming relic from 1959 that captures the optimistic spirit of the space race. Directed by Phil Booth, this animated adventure follows Clutch and his intrepid crew as they vie in a thrilling rocket race to the moon. While the animation style is distinctly of its era, the narrative’s sense of wonder and the era’s fascination with lunar exploration remain palpable. The voice performances, particularly from Richard Cotting, Margaret Kerry, and Emil Sitka, add a layer of classic charm. It's a delightful piece for animation enthusiasts and those interested in the early depictions of space travel in popular culture, offering a glimpse into a bygone era's dreams of the cosmos.
