CLOSE YOUR EYES: CABIN IN THE WOODS

Cinemavixion Review

Dianna Ippolito's "CLOSE YOUR EYES: CABIN IN THE WOODS" plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where a group of strangers, seeking shelter from an avian onslaught, find themselves isolated and disoriented. The film masterfully crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread as the characters grapple not only with the external threat but also with the crumbling foundations of their own reality. Jennifer Collins, Chloe Bale, and Lorna Larkin deliver compelling performances, portraying the descent into paranoia and fear with palpable intensity. The narrative cleverly blurs the lines between the tangible and the psychological, leaving the audience questioning what is real and what is a figment of the characters' unraveling minds. It's a taut thriller that explores themes of isolation and the fragility of perception, making for a disquieting yet captivating cinematic experience.
