CHUCK LEAVELL: THE TREE MAN

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers an intimate portrait of Chuck Leavell, a musician whose keyboard skills have graced the records of legends for decades. 'Chuck Leavell: The Tree Man' masterfully weaves together his parallel passions: music and forestry. Director Allen Farst provides a compelling look at Leavell's journey, showcasing his invaluable contributions to iconic bands like The Rolling Stones and The Allman Brothers Band, alongside his dedicated work as a steward of the environment. The film is enriched by testimonials from music royalty, including Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, and even a personal endorsement from former President Jimmy Carter. It's a deeply engaging exploration of a life lived with extraordinary talent and profound purpose, celebrating a man who is as much a force of nature offstage as he is on.
