BUS PASS BANDITS (OLD AGE CRIMINALS DOCUMENTARY)

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a remarkably candid and often humorous glimpse into the lives of elderly individuals who have turned to crime in their later years. The film presents a compelling collection of characters, ranging from petty smugglers to sophisticated bank fraudsters, each with their own unique motivations and methods. We meet individuals like Ivy, a seasoned fraudster who justifies her actions by asserting that no one is truly harmed beyond financial institutions, and Charlie, an octogenarian bank robber still navigating the complexities of parole. The anarchic spirit and dark humor woven throughout the narrative make for an engaging and thought-provoking exploration of aging, societal perceptions, and the enduring human drive for excitement or survival, regardless of age.
