Simone Petralia's 'BURNED BY LOVE' plunges into the nocturnal heart of Rome, charting a tempestuous romance between Erika, a vulnerable teen prostitute, and Julien, a young street artist. Their paths cross under the moonlight, igniting an instant, passionate connection. As Julien's friends depart for Spain, he finds himself adrift in the Eternal City, his world revolving around Erika. The film explores themes of love found in unexpected circumstances, set against the backdrop of urban isolation and the harsh realities faced by its young protagonists.
