BEYOND THE NEON

Cinemavixion Review

Larry A. McLean's "Beyond the Neon" plunges viewers into the glittering, yet grimy, heart of Las Vegas through the lens of a reckless social experiment gone awry. What begins as a controversial YouTuber's quest for viral fame – a staged kidnapping intended to expose the city's darker side – quickly devolves into a harrowing fight for survival. The film's premise gains a chilling urgency when the crew inadvertently captures evidence of a real human trafficking operation. This twist propels the narrative from a misguided prank into a desperate bid to expose the truth and escape the clutches of a dangerous criminal syndicate. Starring Joey Salads, Frank Pesce, and Cynthia Lucero, "Beyond the Neon" offers a gritty thriller that questions the ethics of online notoriety and the perilous consequences of seeking sensationalism in the face of genuine danger. While the film may not have garnered major awards, its taut pacing and suspenseful plot make it a compelling watch for those intrigued by the intersection of technology, crime, and survival.
