BENNETT'S SONG

Cinemavixion Review

Harley Wallen's "Bennett's Song" presents a charming, albeit unconventional, exploration of modern American family life. The narrative centers on the collision of two distinct families, each boasting seven children, leading to a vibrant tapestry of interactions. Through this large ensemble, the film seeks to find humor, heartfelt musical moments, and genuine connection, ultimately probing the definition of a 'normal' family in the 21st century. The large cast provides ample opportunity for diverse character dynamics, promising a look at blended families and the universal quest for love and belonging amidst the delightful chaos of a sprawling household.
