BEAST NO MORE

Cinemavixion Review

Aaron Warwick's 2019 film "Beast No More" delves into the profound grief and unsettling psychological terrain of a young scientist. The narrative centers on Mary Jane, a biologist specializing in lepidoptery, whose life is shattered by the loss of her son. Fleeing into the isolation of a bush project, she encounters strange phenomena and is presented with an opportunity to regain her motherhood, albeit with a chilling and costly twist. While the local data provides a concise summary, the external OMDb data expands on the protagonist's profession and the surreal atmosphere, hinting at a deeper exploration of loss and the human psyche. The film, noted for its horror and thriller elements, attempts to blend elements of psychological drama with unsettling, potentially supernatural, occurrences. Despite a modest reception, as indicated by its IMDb rating, "Beast No More" offers a thought-provoking, if unnerving, examination of maternal bonds and the lengths one might go to in the face of unbearable tragedy.
