David Eric Brenner's "Aunt Agatha's Apartment" presents a compelling, albeit low-key, exploration of ambition and moral compromise. The film centers on a young couple from Iowa, portrayed with earnestness by Melissa Joan Hart and Ryan Browning, who find themselves in a precarious situation in Manhattan. Their initial plan to secure housing and employment quickly devolves into a secret pact when the apartment's benefactor, Aunt Agatha, passes away. The narrative effectively captures the tension between seizing an opportunity and the ethical weight of deception. Carmen Electra offers a memorable supporting turn.
