ALP

Cinemavixion Review

Juan Salas's 2016 independent horror film "ALP" plunges into the psychological depths of trauma and the supernatural. Starring Yusef Abdur-Razzaaq as Chris, the narrative follows a protagonist returning home to face a troubled past, only to become ensnared by a malevolent entity that manifests through the terrifying phenomenon of sleep paralysis. While the film garnered a modest IMDb rating of 3.0/10, its strength lies in its atmospheric tension and exploration of primal fears. "ALP" offers a chilling, albeit brief, journey into the darkness that can consume the mind, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of psychological horror seeking a visceral, character-driven scare.
