ADRIFT IN SOHO

Cinemavixion Review

Pablo Behrens' "Adrift in Soho" plunges viewers into the vibrant, tumultuous atmosphere of London's Soho district in the 1950s. More than just a period piece, the film captures the nascent spirit of revolution, the kindling that would ignite the cultural shifts of the following decade. Through the lens of a Bolex camera and the grit of local characters, a group of friends embarks on a quest to spark change, a narrative that promises a compelling, albeit potentially raw, cinematic experience. With a cast featuring Owen Drake, Caitlin Harris, and Chris Wellington, and with 3 wins and 3 nominations according to external data, the film appears to be a dedicated exploration of a pivotal era, offering a potent blend of drama and historical commentary.
