ABIGAIL HAUNTING

Cinemavixion Review

Kelly Schwarze's 'Abigail Haunting' plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of trauma and spectral vengeance. The film skillfully weaves Katie's escape from an abusive past with her reluctant return to a foster home, setting the stage for a deeply unsettling atmosphere. As Katie reconnects with her foster mother, Marge, the audience uncovers a decade-old secret that unleashes the tormented spirit of Abigail. Schwarze masterfully builds suspense, utilizing the familiar setting of a childhood home to amplify the horror. The performances, particularly from Chelsea Jurkiewicz as Katie, anchor the emotional weight of the story, making the supernatural encounters feel grounded in genuine fear and desperation. 'Abigail Haunting' is a compelling exploration of how past traumas can manifest in terrifying ways, offering a satisfyingly grim experience for fans of psychological horror.
