A SAFE HOUSE HIDES A DEADLY SECRET

Cinemavixion Review

Melanie Orr's 'A Safe House Hides a Deadly Secret' plunges viewers into a chilling narrative of perceived sanctuary turned sinister. The film centers on Darlene and her daughter Victoria, who seek refuge in a remote safe house managed by Bea. Initially presented as a haven, the house gradually reveals its true nature under Bea's increasingly erratic and controlling influence. Kathleen Quinlan and Ingrid Kavelaars deliver compelling performances, capturing the escalating dread and the desperate struggle for survival. The film masterfully explores themes of manipulation and the dark undercurrents that can lie beneath a facade of safety, leaving audiences on edge as Victoria fights to escape the perilous confines of the supposed refuge. It's a taut psychological thriller that questions the true meaning of safety and the devastating consequences of misplaced trust.
