A DANGEROUS MAN

Cinemavixion Review

Keoni Waxman's "A Dangerous Man" plunges viewers into a gritty world of crime and retribution, anchored by a signature performance from Steven Seagal. The film chronicles Shane Daniels' tumultuous re-entry into society after an unjust prison sentence, only to find himself ensnared in the violent machinations of the Chinese mafia. Seagal, as Daniels, navigates this treacherous landscape with his characteristic stoicism and formidable martial arts prowess. The narrative, enriched by the external data's mention of competing Russian mafia factions and a desperate rescue mission, offers a compelling, albeit familiar, action-thriller arc. Despite its straightforward plot, the film delivers on its promise of high-octane sequences and a clear-cut battle between good and a pervasive evil, making it a solid entry for fans of direct-to-video action cinema.
