90 FEET FROM HOME

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's "90 Feet From Home" plunges viewers into a gritty narrative exploring the lingering shadows of abuse and the arduous path to reconciliation. The film centers on a former Major League Baseball player who, burdened by his past, returns to his childhood home to confront the source of his trauma—his abusive stepfather. The performances, particularly from Shawn Michaels and Eric Roberts, anchor the film's emotional weight, delivering raw intensity as they navigate the complex dynamics of familial estrangement and unresolved pain. While the OMDb data notes a runtime of 126 minutes and a 5.6 rating on IMDb, the film's strength lies in its unflinching portrayal of psychological struggle. "90 Feet From Home" is a compelling character study that delves into the darker aspects of the human psyche, offering a stark look at the consequences of violence and the courage it takes to face one's demons.
