90 FEET FROM HOME

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Bentman's "90 Feet From Home" plunges into the dark heart of familial trauma and revenge, anchored by a compelling performance from Adam Hampton as a former major league baseball player returning to his rural Texas roots. The narrative centers on Hampton's character's confrontation with his abusive stepfather, portrayed by wrestling legend Shawn Michaels, a role that reportedly showcases a different facet of his persona. Bolstered by the presence of veteran actors Eric Roberts and Dean Cain, the film treads a fine line between gritty drama and thriller, exploring themes of redemption and retribution. Released in 2019, "90 Feet From Home" garnered attention for its tense storytelling and the intriguing casting choices. While specific box office figures remain elusive, the film has been recognized with award nominations, hinting at its critical reception. The plot's focus on psychological torment and the protagonist's quest for justice offers a visceral viewing experience, making it a noteworthy entry for audiences interested in character-driven thrillers with a strong emotional core.
