John Russell

John Russell carved a distinctive niche in Hollywood as a rugged American leading man. Following distinguished service in World War II, Russell transitioned to acting, often portraying authoritative figures and charismatic antagonists. While his career spanned both film and television, he is perhaps most remembered for his iconic role as Marshal Dan Troop in the classic Western series 'Lawman... more.' Russell's powerful screen presence continued to captivate audiences decades later, notably in his memorable villainous turn in Clint Eastwood's 'Pale Rider.' less
