Directed by Nick Lyon, the film follows a small band of disparate survivors as they embark on a perilous cross-country trek towards a rumored sanctuary on Catalina Island. The premise, while trodden ground in the zombie genre, is executed with a sense of urgency, amplified by the stark realities of a world decimated by plague. The ensemble cast, featuring Ving Rhames, Taryn Manning, and Johnny Pacar, navigates the desolate terrains and constant threat of the infected.
