ZODIAC: SIGNS OF THE APOCALYPSE

Cinemavixion Review

This 2014 science-fiction thriller plunges viewers into a race against time as an ancient artifact threatens to unleash apocalyptic forces. The narrative centers on Elizabeth, a university antiquities curator, whose discovery of a 2,000-year-old ivory astrology board sets in motion a chain of deadly events. While the film's premise leans into familiar disaster tropes, its exploration of fate and humanity's vulnerability against cosmic powers provides a compelling, if sometimes predictable, viewing experience. The direction, though not explicitly detailed in all sources, effectively builds suspense, and the performances from the cast, including Joel Gretsch and Aaron Douglas, anchor the escalating tension. 'Zodiac: Signs of the Apocalypse' offers a serviceable blend of mystery and action, inviting audiences to ponder the potential consequences of disturbing ancient powers.
