ZODIAC FIGHTER

Cinemavixion Review

Hau Chang's "Zodiac Fighter" plunges viewers into a vibrant world of martial arts, where the ancient discipline of kung fu is infused with a playful, comedic spirit. The narrative follows a compelling premise: masters trained in the twelve animal styles must unite against a formidable adversary who commands the destructive forces of the five elements. What sets this film apart is its masterful blend of high-octane, innovatively choreographed fight sequences and genuine humor, elevating it beyond typical genre fare. The performances, particularly from Lo Lieh and Polly Shan Kwan, anchor the film's blend of action and comedy. A true standout from 1980s martial arts cinema, "Zodiac Fighter" remains a cult favorite, celebrated for its unique take on the genre and its sheer entertainment value.
