ZANE GREY: UNDER THE TONTO RIM

Cinemavixion Review

Lew Landers' "Zane Grey: Under The Tonto Rim" plunges viewers into the heart of a classic Western revenge narrative. Set against a rugged landscape, the film follows Brad, a man driven to vengeance after his stagecoach is ambushed and his associate killed by the notorious Tonto Rim Gang. Brad's calculated descent into the criminal underworld, feigning capture to break out with a fellow inmate and infiltrate the gang, is a testament to his unwavering resolve. However, this perilous path quickly turns, with Brad finding himself cornered and outnumbered. The film masterfully builds tension, exploring themes of justice, betrayal, and the thin line between hero and outlaw in a high-stakes showdown where survival is paramount. The performances, particularly from Tim Holt, Nan Leslie, and Richard Martin, anchor the gritty authenticity of this compelling tale.
