Z.A.N.

Cinemavixion Review

Thiago Moyses's 'Z.A.N.' plunges viewers into the fractured psyche of Adam Manish, a young man grappling with what he perceives as a homicidal conspiracy fueled by his own extraordinary gifts. The film masterfully blurs the lines between delusion and reality, drawing us into Adam's increasingly desperate struggle for survival. João Meira delivers a compelling performance as the tormented protagonist, anchoring the narrative with a palpable sense of paranoia and vulnerability. Supported by Roberto Rowntree and Kika Hamaoui, the cast navigates the film's psychological complexities with impressive nuance. 'Z.A.N.' is a thought-provoking exploration of mental health, paranoia, and the unsettling potential that lies within the human mind, enhanced by its intriguing blend of fantasy, horror, and sci-fi elements.
