XTRO 3: WATCH THE SKIES

Cinemavixion Review

In "Xtro 3: Watch the Skies," director Harry Bromley Davenport plunges audiences into a chilling scenario on a remote island where a team of marines faces an otherworldly threat. The narrative, echoing classic creature features, pits military might against an alien entity, exploring themes of isolation and the unknown. While the film may not boast the polish of blockbuster sci-fi, its straightforward approach to terror and a committed performance from the cast, including Robert Culp, deliver a serviceable slice of genre filmmaking. The desolate setting amplifies the tension, creating an atmosphere where survival hinges on confronting the unimaginable. This installment offers a direct, unpretentious dive into alien invasion horror, best appreciated for its B-movie grit and relentless pursuit of scares.
