WW2 HUMAN TORPEDOES: THE UNTOLD STORIES OF THE "SEA DEVILS"

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the perilous world of World War II naval warfare, specifically focusing on the audacious missions undertaken by 'human torpedoes' and midget submarines. These were often one-way operations, demanding immense courage from their crews who operated in cutting-edge, yet highly dangerous, craft. The narrative also broadens to encompass the significant advancements in tank warfare during the conflict, tracing the evolution from the swift devastation of Blitzkrieg to the climactic battles featuring formidable 'super tanks' such as the German Tiger and the Soviet T-34. The film contrasts the strategic thinking and design philosophies that shaped armored vehicles on both the Allied and Axis sides, underscoring the ingenuity and brutal realities of mechanized combat in the 20th century's most devastating war.
